MESSAGE FROM THE CHAIRMAN

Wyandotte County is currently experiencing an unprecedented growth model that is the envy of communities across the Midwest. With our growing retail destinations, announcement of a new campus for Cerner, the continued success of our industrial/ manufacturing base including the recruitment of a new Sara Lee facility and the rock solid growth of General Motors Fairfax Assembly Plant our future has never been brighter. In addition, we contiue to see steady residential and small business expansion.

The Wyandotte County approach to economic development is truly an asset. Working with multiple individuals, partners and organizations to collaborate in furthering our mutual economic success is a competitive advantage that our community continually offers. The effort, support, and dedication of these partners is impressive, and I am thankful for their countless resources and assistance.
