ATMOS Energy ATMOS energy is the largest natural-gas-only distributor in the United States. Their regulated distribution operations deliver natural gas to 3.2 million residential, commercial, industrial, agricultural and public-authority customers. Distribution services are provided to more than 1,600 communities in 12 states. ATMOS energy is known as one of the most efficient natural gas distribution companies in the industry because of constant cost management. Their employees keep productivity at industry-leading levels. ATMOS energy is one of two natural gas providers in Wyandotte County and primarily serves the western portion of the County. |

City of Bonner Springs, Kansas The City of Bonner Springs has a balanced blend of housing; commercial, retail, and industrial development; and tourism. The Downtown Shareholders of Kansas City The Downtown Shareholders staff carries out the mission of the organization under the leadership of the Board of Directors. The Board of Directors and Executive Committee meet on a monthly basis. All members are invited and encouraged to attend the meetings of the Board of Directors. These meetings provide an opportunity to learn more about the activities of the organization and its committees. Committees are appointed as needed to undertake special projects that support the mission of the organization. |

Fairfax Industrial Association The Fairfax Industrial Association (FIA) serves a 1,800 acre area in the northeast portion of Kansas City, Kansas, and contains approximately 135 business and industrial establishments that generate around 12% of the Unified Governmentís assessed valuation. Collectively Fairfax firms employ nearly 6,500 people. Established in 1922, the FIA board addresses issues vital to its constituents and works with local government to negotiate incentives and tax breaks for its membership. |

Kansas Bioscience Authority The Kansas Bioscience Authority (KBA) was created by the Kansas Economic Growth Act of 2004 with the sole purpose of advancing Kansasí leadership in bioscience. The KBA is the state's largest-ever commitment to expanding Kansas' research capabilities, promoting innovation, and encouraging company formation that will create high-paying jobs for generations to come. The $581 million initiative is designed to: build world-class research capacity; foster the formation and growth of bioscience startups; support expansion of the state's bioscience clusters; and facilitate industrial expansion and attraction. |
