UG committee advances agreement to revamp historic Rock Island Bridge

After years of conceptual discussion, officials with the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas, on Monday evening recommended approval of a cooperative and development agreement with Flying Truss LLC for a roughly $5 million redevelopment of the historic Rock Island Bridge.
