Joshua Hansard

Josh is our Business Retention and Expansion Manager who actively conducts meetings with company leaders to proactively identify and solve any challenges their company may have.  He calls on over 100 Wyandotte County businesses each year, collects data to help determine what growth opportunities fit the community's needs, and acts as a liaison between businesses and various organizations in the community. 

Josh joined the WYEDC team in September of 2023 after working in Human Resources for the nonprofit sector. After growing up in Topeka, he received his bachelor's degree from Kansas State University and has a passion for conflict resolution. 

Outside of work, Josh enjoys golfing, doing spin art, and enjoying his current favorite TV shows with friends and family.
