MARVIN’S INFINITY WINDOWS PROPOSING $70 MILLION PLANT IN KANSAS

March 23, 2023

Officials with the Unified Government of Wyandotte County/Kansas City, Kansas, are considering an incentive package for Infinity Windows LLC, a division of Marvin Windows and Doors, in connection with a 406,960-square-foot manufacturing facility at 9822 Leavenworth Road in the Scannell 435 Logistics Center in Kansas City. As first reported by the Kansas City Business Journal, the pultruded fiberglass manufacturing facility would sit on 56 acres and be operational by early 2024, employing 55 people in its first year and hiring 600 people over its first four years, with average annual salaries starting at $44,259, according to economic analyses prepared by Municipal Consulting LLC on behalf of Marvin for the Unified Government.

The proposed facility would represent a $70 million investment in land, construction, and equipment. On March 6, a Unified Government committee considered the company’s request for a $10.1 million local incentives package and Industrial Revenue Bonds, in an amount not to exceed $90 million for Infinity Windows.
